Ventilated seats--not available in US?

Were ventilated seats an option in the US? I can't figure it out. On the Volvo US website, they don't put it as an option on the XC70. Anyone have any insight?

I have just been reading all of the fine print in teh current '09 XC70 -US brochures and options booklets, and they are not listed as available.

I went to the UK Volvo website and "built" an XC70 and it was available there. Not here where it was over 100 degrees F for 10 days. Those seats are available on the executive XC90 and the S80, from what I could tell on the US website. Well, I'll keep track of it and maybe one day I can retro-fit! I got my 08 off the lot, so I didn't order it myself. I wonder if it would have been available with an Overseas Delivery? Anyone who did the OSD know?

We did OSD through Military sales, but since we were ordering U.S. Specs, they weren't available to us, either. Just the XC90 and S80...
