View Full Version : Cabin air flow to the front or the rear?

2005 XC. Just removed the old cabin air filter, and I think maybe it was installed incorrectly, backwards. It had the air flow indicator pointed toward the front of the car. Does the air flow to the front or to the rear of the car?
(The new Purolator filter looks the same on both sides...)

Not on mine... towards the firewall, 100% sure on mine...

Unless your eyes can judge microns, you won't see any difference.

Look for an arrow on the side of the filter that indicated airflow direction.
