I have one of the Volvo refrigerator/cooler units for the XC70, free for anyone willing to come pick it up. Being "free", I'm not willing to ship it. I am in Sanford, NC which is about 30 miles south of Raleigh.
This is the Volvo unit that replaces the center seat section in the XC-70 rear seats and becomes a armrest, cup holder, and opens like a console to reveal an electronically cooled well for cold drinks, snacks, etc. It also includes a removable tray.
The unit is in great cosmetic shape, but does not seem to power-up. Also the latch that holds the lid securely closed is broken. I am not sure what is wrong with the cooler function and if it can be easily made to work again. The latch certainly could be fixed or replaced as the little "beak" that catches the receiver is simply snapped off. In it's current state it is still useful as a "passive" cooler or storage for a trip.
I'll hold onto the unit for about a week before tossing it, but wanted to give it a chance for redemption [cool2]
