Block Heater Help

So I am installing a block heater in my 2002 xc70, and need a little help. Could someone possibly take a picture of how it is physically mounted to the engine block.

I'm interested in this too. A block heater is something I might consider. Have you started the work yet?

I have jacked up the car twice to do this. Its really easy to remove the bumper, splashgard, ect. I actually cleaned about a half pound of sand and other gunk out of there that could not have been good for the car. The wiring is simple, but i get stuck when it comes to exactly where to mount this thing. It looks like it goes pretty high up on the engine block. Vidas does not have instructions, and i cant find instructions for my specific model on the volvo site. I took some photos of possible mount points that i will post when i get home.

If you have done so already, take a look at the installation instructions in this link (http://vccs.volvocars.se/accessories/ii/Details.aspx?uid=83a3ba0d-0bab-47b4-98ef-fedc094e2d4a). Depending on your MY, it appears there should be a specific configuration for the block heater attachment.

With T-Bracket

My car is a 2002 xc70. It is the lower picture without the T bracket. My problem is that there are three threaded openings. one too large for the bolt included, but then two equal sized holes about 6 inches apart and about a 1.5 feet up from the bottom of the block from under the car. My heater is separate from the mounting plate, which is one piece in the above diagrams. I have those instructions, and am assuming that the fact that my heater is separate from the mounting bar is just an illustration deal. If you were to reverse the mounting bar in the second picture and mount the heater below the bolt, I could see it fitting in these holes. It just wont fit the way that is illustrated. I am wondering if VIDA has better pictures. VADIS does not have any installation pictures.
