I just ordered a third row seat from a salvage yard and I have no idea how to install it. Does anyone know where to find installation instructions?

I paid $650 for the seat, but after I had agreed on a price, I was offered one for $500 from someone else. I just called salvage yards around the country -- they come in fairly regularly.

I was looking through the installation guide and I can't make out what exactly some of the required tools are:

Specifically, what is A0000162, A000165, and IMG-221820? Any ideas?

I think the instructions are provided mainly to assist the techs with the installation which might explain the logic behind the Volvo specific tools. Most of these hand/power tools used appear to be ones that anyone might have in their own garage. 162 looks like an ordinary tool chest, 165 is a reciprocating saw and 221820 is a step drill bit.

You'll also probably need a lock cylinder for the rear hatch unless of course the salvagers happened to include it along with the rest of the seat components.

I bought my third row seat off ebay and it arrived. I tried clicking on the links that are in this thread, but they all appear to be invalid.

Can someone provide a link that works to a video for installation?

It would be a huge help.

Here's (http://vccs.volvocars.se/accessories/ii/search.aspx) the link that will take you to the installation search section. Be sure to select V70 -08 (not V70XC or XC70). Choose your model year and then click on the body and interior category. You'll find the installation instructions under auxiliary rear facing seat.
