I probably blown my ccm by removing it while powered on .:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
If i swap it with another working module will it work?
Of course i will do the swap while there is no power and after the procedure of disconnecting the battery ten minutes after engine off (This time:mad:)

See if you can get your ECC working by the links in here

http://www.freewebs.com/howardsvolvos/electricalelectronics.htm

Software reload got it working again for some people. I think this means new ECC would need software download and maybe calibrate the vent motors. Just a guess.

FYI, when I take out my ECC, I 1) turn off everything on it - fan, AC etc.. 2) wait 10 min 3) disconnect negative of battery terminal, then you can take the ECC out. Before I reconnect battery, I 1) turn the key to position II (in all Volvo directions for reconnect battery) 2) hit lock/unlock button on the door or remote to resync upper cabin electronics.

In fact, I do this step for my ECC each and every time I disconnect the battery for other reasons too having heard so many people fried their ECC after dis/reconnect the battery.

Thank you very much for your help but i already used that link and method and it did'nt work. I'm 130 miles(200kms) from a volvo dealer and i hope i won't have to go make a depo$it there. I tought i could find a used ccm and swap it. I know it won't reset my airbag code but at least the rest will be working.
