Rds on the hu-613

If you look in the booklet and on the window sticker it says it is a RDS radio. I have read past post on this and I used the list of RDS stations(link) that was given in an earlier post to find the ones in my area to check this and they do not show on my system. Has anyone looked into this at the dealer? Any comments would be helpful. I have used the hidden menus and that was great. If you are looking through the hidden menus it does have something in them about RDS. Can it be turned off or something.

I think it depends on the incarnation of the Hu-613.  Most in North America do not have RDS.  I am not sure anyone has posted inthe forum that DOES have RDS.  

In the manual, you'll notice the four buttons on the HU-803 unit that show PTY, News...etc.  These are the RDS buttons.

I do know that some Hu-6xx units are RDS capable...Volvo makes them and they are detailed in the Volvo Audio catalog.  Search the forums for the link I posted to this complete catalog and specs of Volvo audio.
