"MY" Question

Might seem like a dumb question.
Looking at an "03" model. Vehicle was built in 02.
It has the 2.5l engine.
Should this vehicle also have the better tranny and Haldex awd?

1/2 the 03's were built in 02.
The model year starts when they're introduced for sale

Yes, I carfaxed it. No mention of haldex awd system.

Carfax won't say anything about Haldex :confused: but if it says, it's an 03, then it's a (Haldex equipped) 2003

Just wanted to put my mind at rest Volvo didn't stick the last of their visceous coupling systems into 03's.

I don't know if this is true or not, but this was mentioned to me by the Military Sales saleperson I dealt with in Germany when I bought my MY '03 (ordered it in Nov of '02 and took delivery of it in Feb '03) -- the 02's apparently carry the badge "V70 XC" and beginning with the '03s Volvo rebadged the vehicle as an "XC70". FWIW....
