Aftermarket HID kit

So after i bought my XC90, i bought an APEXCONE 55W HID kit (6000k). I THINK i installed it properly :D Heres problem #1 . . sometimes when i start the car the passenger side doesnt turn on and vice versa. Problem #2 . . All the wires and ballast, i stuffed them inside the whole headlight housing. Sounds crazy? I know! I did it because the cover for the headlight will not close because of the wires from the HID kit. So my choice was either leave the back of the headlights uncovered or stuff the HID kit inside and have it covered. So can anyone help me with Problem 1 and 2? Im mainly concerned with problem 1.

For issue #2, drill a hole in the center of the cap to let the wires pass through. The kit should have come with a rubber gromet to fill the space in the hole you make. Not sure about issue #1.

It actually did come with that rubber peice. Im going to try to drill that hole on my day off. Maybe that will solve problem #1 also?

Did you ever find a solution to the passenger side not working?
btw, did you use a
1)wiring/relay/fuse harness or
2)BOW kit='bulb out warning' on dash kit
