Picked it up this week. The body and interior are very clean. Looks like it was garaged most of its life.
The PO gave me all the maintenance records (everything was done at the dealer). I had a pre-purchase inspection at the same dealer and the only major thing they found was the slight leak at the "angle gasket". The PO knocked off $500, so we got it for 8k. The tires are only 2yrs old, but have wear on the outside edge (1in). Could the tire wear be related to the 'angle gear'?
After quickly going over the maint records, it looks like it goes through brakes pretty fast. Is that the car or the driver. The xmission had the software upgrade and has been flushed, but I didn't see any work for the ABS module or the ETM. Is that a good thing or bad? Also, I know the Timing Belt is crucial, so should I just change it now at 88k?
