stereo problem

only the center dash board speaker is working, plus my CD player is rejecting CD's...has anyone had this problem? I thought it might be codes but JRL says no. Any advise?

If your center speaker is working (you did not SAY that earlier) why would you ask for a code, the radio is ON.
The amp is probably blown, the center speaker works directly off the radio but the 803 has a separate amp for the other speakers (I assume you have an 803)

I have no idea what an 803 is so I am not sure if I have one. would a blown amp affect my cd player from accepting cds as well?

The 803 will choke on some home made CDs but it does fine with commercial ones. Doesn't have anything to do with blown amps, though.

the 803 is a type of stereo. its stamped on the bottom right. I have a 613, and it wont take CD's (of any kind) anymore, either. I don't think there is anything I can do about it, other than replace the head unit, which I'm not willing to do.
