shuddering when doing a sharp turn.

My 98 XC shudders when i do a sharp turn like a 90 deg turn in a residental area. If i step on the gas the Amplitude increases. I dont know about CV joints on this car. All the cars that I have ever seen them go bad, they click when you turn hard. I was wondering about Strut Mounts and Strut Bearings. I had the Alignment done 6 months ago but the joker never mentioned anything about the front end. I also changed the Control arms when I had the alignment done.

Any one got ideas? OH yeah its got 144,000 miles.
