Two days ago, the climate control stopped working. Now it only works intermittently and cycles between hot and cold air. We also noticed that it's hard to control the fan using the manual setting.

I know all about the afterblow feature on these cars, but we also noticed the blower fan running a full speed after the car was shut off. It does cycle, but drains the battery almost to the point of the car not starting.

Not even sure where to look, control module, temp sensor?

Does it throw any codes on the OBDII?

No, I get no error codes on the display

tlbv - Is that from an OBDII reader or your message window?

You may take a look at the inside temperature sensor, located behind the
small grill in the center console (next to one of the temperature setting knobs).
Looking through the slits of the grill you can spot a small fan.
The fan sucks in the air for the sensor behind it. If the entry is clogged,
the airco can behave erratic.
On the other hand, bad air fan response can be caused by a faullty fan control module.
It is located next to the fan itself, under the glove box.
If the pollen filter was not replaced for a very long time, it is not uncommon that the module fails
prematurely (having to work hard and not getting enough cooling).

I did mean the message window. Have not had it in to have the codes run.

I will try and look to see any damage or Dust near the sensor.
