Help! My key won't turn in the ignition.

Just a little bit ago I tried to start my Volvo and the key would not turn in the ignition. First it turned a little, just enough to light the control panel, but no further. It would not budge. I had to leave, so I took the other car. When I got home, I checked to make sure the wheels were straight, they were, (it's a tight squeeze for 2 cars in our garage.) I wiggled the steering wheel a bit, then tried to start it, but the key would not budge at all. I've tried both sets of keys, all to no avail. I've never had such a thing happen. Any suggestions you can give are appreciated. I would like to use my XC tomorrow.

Problem solved! I gave it the problem a good deal of prayer last night, went out his morning and jerked the "tar" out of the steering wheel several times, finally I felt it release and then I could turn the key. At least I'll know what to do if that happens again. I'm glad I was at home when this incident occurred.
