Gas Cap Cover?

The plasic part that clips into the body on the cover has 4 I will call them clips. Any trick to getting them to stay in, I am not haveing much luck. One stuck and the other I can't get to hold.

make sure the clips, pins, pegs whatever you want to call them are a little oily. jsut grab the dipstick with you fingers and then tough each peg, you don't need much oil, just got to get them a little wet and they will go in like butter, other wise, you might snap them when trying to drive them in, i know i almost did one and then i oiled the others and i will do it again if i have to.
