Hey All,

I just purchased my 7th Volvo (6th wagon) : 2001 v70 cross country.

What is the difference between a 2001 c70 xc and a 2001 v70 xc?

Furthermore, my v70 tailgate says "v70, awd, cross country" is this essentially the same thing as what Im seeing labled as a v70xc?

Thanks

C70 is a convertable and no such thing as an XC in that model.

Cross country wagon is the same no matter how you badge the rear
with the exception of model year changes.

There is no c70xc
V70XC and XC70 are the same vehivle, they just reversed the numbers in 2003

Thanks! Sorry about the confusion...c70 vs xc70

On a different note. Has any one put larger all terrain tires (Bf goodrich) on their V70XC or XC70? Any problems with going with a slightly larger tire? I do know that they all need to match.

I was posting back to JRL who obviously did not read what I posted.

For tires you just need to check a calculator like this:

http://http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

You can play with the width and height to see what is within
oem spec.
