Hey all:
I was at a couple of local tire shops this week looking for dedicated winter tires. One shop recommended the Michelin X-Ice and the other Pirelli Snow and Ice, the later especially designed for 4 wheel drive vehicles I was told. According to recent test performed in Sweden (http://www.consumersearch.com/www/automotive/snow-tires/index.html) the X-Ice is the best tire out there for harsh winter conditions. I drive to the ski hill almost every week, and any highways out of town experience harsh winter conditions, so dry road handling at high speed is not too important for me.
Any thoughts or experience with these 2 tires?
