A couple weeks ago I had the rear wheel bearings replaced on our '03 XC70 by the dealer. All seemed fine until this week when I started getting an intermittant ABS warning message. I put the car on a lift and noticed that the bolt or screw that should have been holding the ABS sensor to the right rear hub was missing. I assume it was either left out or not tightened enough when the hub was replaced. I have put in a bolt of the appropriate length and started the car. The ABS warning message is still present. Are there any special steps that I should have taken when reinstalling the sensor such as lubrication or torque settings that could be at play?

Thanks.

Please disregard my original posting. All I had to do was drive the car about three car lengths & the ABS warning was gone. I assume it had to go through a check process while in motion.

There should be still a permanent fault code in the computer. You will need to reset the code.
