grease around front driver door keyhole - theft attempt??

I noticed some grease about the front driver door keyhole. I wonder if this was from a maintenance service that I didn't notice (as I exlusively use the Fob) OR is this a strategy by would-be thieves to gain access?? Thanks.

It's probably just a bit of lube from your last service, and the higher temperatures of the season are causing it to sweat out a bit. As far as a theft attempt....who the hell would want to steal an XC ????? Or any Volvo for that matter !!!
