Volvo Announces June 2011 Sales

U.S. Sales Up 42.1 PercentROCKLEIGH, N.J. (July 1, 2011) – Volvo Cars of North America, LLC, (VCNA) reported U.S. sales of 7,100 units, a 42.1 percent increase from June 2010. Year-to-date sales are up 28.7 percent over the first two quarters of 2010.In Canada, Volvo sales are up 11.7 percent in June with a total of 800 vehicles sold. Year-to-date sales are up 7.5 percent in Canada.Sales of the award-winning S60 sports sedan continue to increase each month in the U.S. with 2,430 units sold in June. In Canada, the XC60 was the top selling carline for the month with 225 units sold.Source: Volvo Cars of North America
