Default HOT d--mn what a car!!!

My wife gets to drive our 04 XC all the time....I ride a bicycle to work! This weekend we left DC in a hard rain storm for the VA mtns. We were late and roads were slick. Good golly what a car Power, traction and handling were so much better than most of the other cars that it made the drive a pleasure rather than a white knuckle affair AND we got there on time

The BEST part was driving miles of dirt and gravel up a steep mtn. to get to our friends cabin I was actually TRYING to get the car to misbehave....which was fun in it's own right.

Meanwhile, James Taylor on the CD and wife reading a book. Groan, we have gone over the top. The car is almost too nice. Thank You VOLVO.

Too be honest I am one of those Volvo fanatics who has always driven a Volvo. I love these cars. I see so many people complaining about their Volvos because they think that somehow older models were better or more reliable. And the fact is that as much as I loved my previous Volvos, I would not go back to any them after driving my XC70. I would also argue that every model is an improvement over the previous one. When 164 was replaced with 240, people complained; when 240 was replaced with 850, people complained; when 850 was replaced with V70, many complained. The past always looks better than it really was. I guess people love to romanticize the past and forget the ills, so to speak. I am like you: I love how this car drives and handles. Volvo did an excellent work.
