Hi. I’ve been getting this message. Change to new battery still getting same message. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Do you have the standard key fob, or the smart "communicator"? The communicator has 2 batteries in it.

You might clean the contacts for the battery. Is there a 2nd Fob that is working correctly? That would point to a problem with the one specific key fob.
The console message will self-extinguish when the fob stops broadcasting a "low battery" to the car.

I had the same problem for a week or two. I bought replacement batteries on-line. Then the message mysteriously disappeared and hasn't returned for over a year. The batteries are unopened in a drawer.
