    If everything is fine you don't need to adapt the TCM.
    2002 V70 (sold)
    2005 XC70 (Telos Road took it. Did a chassis swap)
    2016 XC60 (sold, P.O.S.)

    Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. Just got the car in October and I've been slowly rebuilding any wear parts as preventative maintenance. She's at 113K miles (bought at 106K) and it's my intention to get it to at least 250K if I can.

    Correct, you don't need to run the adaptation, but you should reset the fluid counter using VIDA.

    Does anyone have a link showing how to do so? I’m an IT guy but Vida is frankly a UI disaster.

    Not even that. The counter increments when ATF was over 150 C for 3 minutes. Really?..
