What time does the sun set ?

What time does the sun set in Gotebug in late August??? And what time does the sunrise???

Check out Time and Date.com

I plugged in Goteborg for 21 July and it said sunrise was at 4:45 a.m. and sunset at 9:51 p.m. *Sunrise will be a bit later and sunrise a bit earlier by the time you go in late August. *I don't think the above site gives you the capability to plug in a date and city though, but still...a neat site.  Enjoy your trip, it should be a great experience.

I went to the site, but could not figure out how to request sunrise or sunset.  I am a bit computer challenged.  Could you tell me how you did that?

In June the sun hardly sets.  In August you can expect the sun to set around 9:00pm and the sun to rise around 5:00am.
These days it sets at 9:41pm and rises at 4:42am.

Didn' look at that specifically when we were there 1st of july but at 11pm to 1am people and children still out walking and it looks like 8pm in calif.  never did get dark. Makes driving great because you don't have to worry about driving in a new area in the dark.

Once your on the Time and Date home page, type Goteborg into the "search for city" field in the "World Time Search" section abd then click on GO. *On the next page that is displayed if you scroll down, it will give you the sunrise/sunset information. *You're not actually making a request for sunrise/sunset information, it's just a part of the information provided. *As Purush points out, you can expect a sunrise of around 5:00 a.m and a sunset of around 9:00 p.m. in late August. *Wish you a great trip.
