    Default Oil dipstick problem

Hi all, so on my 2004 xc90 the oil dipstick broke and the metal piece fell down into the dipstick tube and I've tried retrieving it with magnets, needle nose pliers and still can't get it out even though I can see it in the tube. So I was wondering if anyone knows how to take off the oil dipstick tube? I've looked around an couldn't find anything, I know you have to remove the bolt holding it to the block but I crawled underneath an couldn't see it and it doesn't seem like I'm able to get to it from the top either so any advice would be much appreciated!

Yes that one bolt is all that holds the tube in, be sure to get a new oring seal for the bottom, 30637865 when you buy a new dipstick
