    Default replica wheel opinions?

    Hi,

I'm still looking for wheels I like to upsize my XC70 (235/50/18) for the warmer weather (I'll use the OEM's for winter with dedicated winter tires). Anyone know anything about this seller or their product's quality? Thanks in advance.

I assume one of the reasons you purchased an XC70 was safety.
Wheels purchased off eBay not knowing anything about where manufactured (China?) is the last place I would look for wheels.
I use only Volvo OEM wheels and have never had a problem on four Volvo's. Three of which had summer and winter wheels/tires.
I decided to just run the 2011 all year round with the same wheels/tires.
BTW I see no reason to upsize, the space in the wheel wells is for wheel articulation over rough ground.-Dick

I'm with Bud...I don't trust unknown wheels...if you want reasonably priced OE wheels, try these guys...have replaced 5 Volvo wheels over the years with them and never an issue...

By upsize, I meant to increase the wheel diameter, not the rolling circumference. 235/50/18's are almost identical to the OEM 215/65/16's that came with the car, and the effect on the speedo will be neglible. I just want a stiffer sidewall tire and a better "look", in my opinion. Regarding wheels made in China, not everything made in China is of poor quality (iphone included!). Plenty of Volvo owners drive on wheels made in China with no incident. Tire Rack is a huge seller of aftermarket wheels (many made in China) and the purchase of a second set for winter wheels or for folks "plus sizing" for looks is an everyday occurrence. Chinese wheels can be fine, I was just looking for specific info on this seller and their product. If no one has any info, I'll take that into consideration. By the way, now that Geely owns Volvo, who is the manufacturer of OEM Volvo wheels these days.
