My 2002 XC 70 with a 2005 S80 2.5T AWD.... any thoughts???
What about the 2005 XC90 2.5T AWD?

Either one are good choices. The XC90 will require you start a savings account for new headlamps when those haze over so that you can't see at night.
I have a 2005 V70 and the lights (plastic) shine brighter than the lights on the 2002 XC (glass). LOL.
I've polished out the headlights on my Corolla sucessfully a few times...they look great...power buffer/polisher helps...
Current Fleet:
2006 Corolla (kid's car - 108K, Conti Eco Contacts, Castrol Edge 5W30)
2005 MB S600 (63K, M1 0W40)
2002 V70-XC (165K, Nokian WR G2, Pennzoil Ultra 5W30)
2002 V70-T5 (143K, IPD bars, Bilsteins, Extreme Contact DWS, Mobil 1 5W40)
1992 MB 300E (Sportline - 123K, Nokian WR G2, Edge 5W40)
1990 4-Runner (V6, 4WD, mild lift - 239K, 31" BFG AT KO, Edge 10W30)
1932 Packard Sedan (straight 8, dual sidemount spares, original paint and interior, Shell Rotella 15W40)
In the sunbelt 05 up s60/v70 and all xc90's get cataracts quickly. The effects of the treatments gets shorter and shorter with every treatment. Not singling out volvo. M-B's get the disease early too and their lamps assemblies are 4 times what Volvo OEM's are.
