Creaking strut mounts

My strut mounts have started creaking in the very hot weather. If it's >90 degrees out and the car has been driven for a while, whenever I turn the wheel left or right it sounds like a squeaky door. Looking back through my FCP order history I bought strut mounts from FCP for $29.99 ea in April 2011. At that price I guess they were URO parts? Anyway, do you think the squeaking is a problem? There are no visible defects to the mounts.

I experienced a strange problem with strut mount on my 01 T5. It was a URO part.

Basically, the spring seat didn't seem to seat tightly inside the strut mount. I would get random rubber rubbing sounds. I recall the fitting wasn't axially aligned (the washer below the top nut isn't parallel with the strut mount bearing) I eventually remove it and put the old strut mount back and no noise since.
