Default Nokian WRG2 SUV cracking around tread

Anybody else had this happen? Nokian WRG2 SUV tired and all along the edge of the sidewall portion of the tread are small cracks in the rubber. All four tires. Two years old almost to the month with approximately 25,000 kilometres on them. I'll try to get a picture and post shortly.

4108. So they had 1.5 years of sitting on the shelf before I got 'em in May of 2010.

And I guess the rubber is now 3 years, 7 months old.

I've got the WRG2 SUVs on the XC - no cracking like you describe.

I've got the WRG2s on the MB - no cracking like you describe.

Have you been using any of those "tire shine" products? My experience is that some do more harm than good....

I also have those tires and here is what they look like:

    Few details:
Made in Russia, 1610 so they were made in January 2010 and I purchased them in December 2010.
I have 18K miles on them as of now and these are 235/50/18 xl with 35psi cold and spirited driving.
Alignment is straight , all suspension components are tight and wheels are rotated every 5K with oil changes.
I have no concern for these hair line web like crack IF this is what U describing.

Actually, 1610 means they were made in the 16th week of 2010, not January 6th, 2010.

06ORXC - Those aren't really cracks...not what I would call cracks anyway...those are tread block wear as a result of "spirited driving"...

Well, I'm a little relieved, but mine look a bit different, like those marks on the side of the tread are pulling apart.

Under inflated and hard driven tires will do that, especially if it's a hot day.

I know, when I was younger, I did the same thing to my Bridgestone RE71 tyres. I had 20 psi and was driving like a typical 20 year old. It was my troop sergeant who pointed them out then smacked me in the back of the head.

And Nokian WRG2's are soft tyres compared to summer, I mean 'all-seasons.'
