Front foglight problem

Smashed the front OS fog a while ago and am having problems locating another - I bought one from ebay and obv. it didnt fit - do all 97-2000 XC's have fogs staqrting with serial # 900 or just mine ?

Any idea where I could get one from ? The usual Salvogroup dont seem to have one lying around

XCs have a different foglight than S/V70s and V70Rs, (different shape)
Did you try Erie for a used light?

Also FCP Groton actually sells a good aftermarket foglight. I don't know if they carry the XC light but you should also give them a call

I too was wondering about foglights but for other reasons. I am looking at replacing my XC front bumper with a R front bumper and wasn't sure if the fogs were interchangeable or not.

I have been looking at sourcing some parts from Europe. In my case the shipping from the UK to the US was a deal breaker. If you are close to Swansea or willing to go for a drive and can ship me two headlights and two or four other small parts, I would include a new foglight for your car in the order and you could just have it. I did find a dealer in Swansea that offers a discount on new parts. I'll PM you the contact info and discount details.

Here is an online source but I think they ship from Germany and I don't know that their pricing is very good. For me the important thing is that they would ship to the US:

I know of a junkyard near me that has a '99 AWD (not XC) that is basically complete, engine and everything (awful interior as I recall, white exterior, and for others reading this, I may be willing to help with other parts). I have a cracked foglight lens but forgot to check if this one had fogs or if they are the same. Maybe I'll go check it out...

Hi Chaps

Car went through the MoT with no problems - I removed the foglight beforehand

Will lurk around ebay for one to come up - its not that much of an issue for me given the miles I do & the conditions I drive in the XC
