I am trying to help my friend who has a 07 xc70. He has only heat on the drivers side no matter what temp it is set to. The passenger side temp works as normal, hot is hot and when set to cold get very cold. Any input would be great.

You have to fault trace but the fastest way is to go to Volvo (or find someone with a VIDA-DICE unit) and pull the hidden codes, there will be some.
It can even be a seat heat module, it's tied into the C/C unit (I just had this problem) but don't just keep throwing parts at it PULL THE STORED CODES
It could be a stuck flap inside the unit, it can be several thingsAll emails please use: jrl1194 (at) aol.com
