My '03 xc70 with 118k miles won't start. I suspect it is a fuel line issue, perhaps the pump. We were headed home from a camping trip in the desert, stopped for a break, and could not restart the car. Ignition and starter crank, it seems to fire, but won't catch and run -- acting like a fuel line issue or a flood. I had all the 105k maintenance done months ago and doubt that the fuel filter is the problem. I had taken my car to Denver for maintenance where we found an excellent Volvo mechanic, but now live 3 hours from Denver and have been told many cautionary tales about the Volvo service in this valley being predatory and opportunistic. My concern is that this is a minor issue that a shop is going to use as a smokescreen to fleece me. Any thoughts, recommendations and advice are deeply appreciated.
