I notice that in the current OSD Tourist "Price list 124" the HP specification for the MY2012 XC70 3.2 AWD states 240 HP whereas at my local Volvo dealership this same car's Moroni sticker states 230 HP.
Which one is correct ? .... or are they both correct meaning if you go the OSD route you get the extra 10 HP ?
After a bit of research I did find this at http://www.automotive.com/volvo/xc70/2012/t3-12-1/
The 2012 Volvo XC70 marches on with a few more tweaks intended to keep it competitive. Under the hood, the base XC70's normally-aspirated 3.2-liter inline-6 is now joined by a partial zero-emissions version which sacrifices a few horsepower (230, down from 240) in the interest of reduced emissions and the expectation of slightly better mileage. Meanwhile, the 300 horsepower, 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 powering the T6 version is unchanged. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Fortunately, both engines consume regular-grade gas, because the XC70's fuel economy is average at best.
