Its really lousy how common a mistake this seems to be.

I can get stickers made - around $1.50 each and they're heat resistant. But I would have to order 150 of them.. which is a big cost to carry.

But if I can get 50 guys to order them, I would do so for the forum... just so you guy know...

Thats a step in the right direction. Prevention is better than cure and it appears this problem is far more common than expected.

Either we leave this issue with Volvo to sort out or do something ourselves.

When mentioned that this also affects the '03-'07 models, does it include the V70s? I have a 2004 V70 2.5L with only 35,000 miles.

I'm in for a sticker if this applies to my V70. Thanks.
