    Default Power Steering Fluid

Can anyone tell me what is an equivalent power steering fluid for the 2005 XC90 V8? The book just says Volvo Synthetic Power Steering Fluid - which I can not get locally.

Assuming the XC90 uses the same fluid as the XC70 the OEM fluid would be Pentosin CHF-11S which is a special synthetic low foaming hydraulic oil. I got mine at a local NAPA. Wasn't cheap but it is the correct fluid.

Thanks for the reply. I found the same thing at NAPA $22/liter. CHF-11S. I was also told that GUNK Synthetic Power Steering Fluid for European and Nissan Vehicles is the same stuff. Not sure on that, couldn't find it locally anyway.
