    Default HU-613 hidden menu question

First off, hello this is my first post.

I must admit to you, that I'm actually the proud owner of a 2001 FWD V70, Even so, this site has such a wealth of great information that also applies to my vehicle, I thought I'd give this a shot.

I'm hoping someone can help me with the following.

I have been able to access the hidden menus using l<< + Volume
and >>l + Volume but for some reason, when I try to access the hidden EQ with Source + Volume, nothing happens. Am I missing something?

I've scoured the archives here and elsewhere to no avail.

    Thanks in advance

    Kas

I know it took me a few times to get it right but finally did and the stereo does sound better after tinkering with the E.Q.

All of the info you need is available on this website, just be patient. No real trick to it. Good luck.

    Default HU-613 Hidden Menus

KAS, is this what you want?

    http://www.volvoxc.com/resources/audio_menus/hu613/

It's under the resources tab at the very top of the forum screen.

I don't think it is really an equilizer but you can bias the individual pairs of speakers.

Additional instructions after trying it myself:
Key in and turn to on position (II or III) so the radio will come on.
    Turn radio off.
    Push source button and hold.
Push volume/power button to turn radio on while still holding source button (no need to hold the volume/power button), hold for 5+ seconds.
Turn source button to change number after speaker designation.
Push source button to change speakers being controlled.
    When done push volume/power button.

    Hope this helps,

    Harold.

Harold, thank you for your detailed reply.

I'm baffled. I'm able to access all other hidden functions but no matter how long I hold the source button, before or after pushing the volume knob, nothing.

I'm beginning to wonder if some other hidden function has been turned on or off and is effecting this ????

Oh well, I'll continue to try
