I use a Motorola Droid 4 phone with the Vehicle Dock in my '07.

It gives me music, dual port charging so the wife...
Short form of story -
Wife's V50 at 7 yrs, 3 mos and 111k miles had the PCV Breather Box fail on a trip to SC. With no Volvo dealer nearby and ignorance of any potential coverage, we had it fixed...
Nice. I love my white XC.
Aye, I can't argue that point. I own an '07 cause I didn't care for the revised and enlarged '08.
Perhaps you should review Consumer Reports ranking of automobile manufacturers then. You might be surprised to see where Volvo falls. I was.
If memory serves me correctly it's
1. Honda
2....
1 year ago tomorrow I bought my XC as a CPO with 26,600 miles on it. 365 days and 30.3k miles later, I love this car. It is everything I want or need in a car - economical, powerful, comfortable,...
Yep, I found that out when I reached under there this morning. Interesting, because the wife's 2 yr older V50 does have them. I guess I assumed the 70 did also.
So that begs the question - Does...
Question on the walk me home lights. I press the yellow button on fob to light the courtesy lights. My lights on the underside of my mirror never light. Is this a setting in the car somewhere?
Got the bulb changed today. I did have to pull the air inlet box. Thanks Astro14 for the 10mm socket tip in the other thread, that trick worked perfectly in releasing the snap fit connectors. This...
Well, I found the bulb. Once I pull the air inlet box out, I can change the bulb pretty easy. It's nestled aside the turn signal and a little difficult to see from above the car.
Yea, it's the yellow one in front of the wheel, next to the headlight.
The owner's manual says -
"Replacing bulbs at the front of the vehicle
All front bulbs (except the optional front fog...
My driver's side front marker light is out. Assumed to be a blown bulb, I've been suffering a rash of these lately. I looked in the owner's manual, I held it up to the appropriate spot on the car. ...
When I was shopping for one of the P2s used a year ago, I drove several vehicles with >170k miles on them, including 1 at >206k miles. All of them drove nice and tight with engines that didn't smoke....
Besides the cars in my signature, I drive a 2006 RAM 1500 MegaCab. It's primary duty is towing our travel trailer on our getaways.
One reason the inside carpet on that last one looks so nice, the factory floor mats are missing. I imagine they aren't cheap to replace. I would ask about replacing those before purchasing this car....
I bought a CPO 2007 earlier this year. With 27k miles on it, there was a blown front wheel bearing.
My apologies VR. I did not mean this to go unanswered for so long after expressing interest. Lots of hurry up happenings round here, some expected, some not. Much as I would like to have these, I'm...
Do you know if they're direct bolt-on for an '07? I assume local pickup could be done also, correct?
I haven't installed one in my XC70, so I can't help you with the wiring there. But for electric brake controllers, you can't go wrong with a Tekonsha Prodigy. It's a proportional brake controller...
My '07 has it, as did all the '07s I looked at. I figured it was standard.
Actually, she's having trouble with the car. :)
I am by no means an expert on the Volvo. If the throttle sensor or acceleration sensor is a relatively inexpensive part, I'd start there. I had...
<sarcasm on>Glad those of us in the U.S.A don't have to deal with that problem from our fellow citizens...<sarcasm off>
I'm familiar with the symptoms of a leaking heater core from other cars. None of that going on. Evaporator drain is ok based on the dripping beneath the car. Wet leaves or something at the intake...
Well, that is part of the problem. It never seems to equalize or stop. If I kill the defrost, the inside fog returns. If I leave it run, the outside gets worse. Perhaps I need to just find that...
