Yes and no
We have a shop that does them here and by now since they have done well way over 100 of them, they have it down.
When I said over 100K is a crap shoot, these also suffer from bad cases....
If you needed it why didn't you buy it?
It was priced very fair
Anyhow, this one also has what seems like a Valentine radar (same display) built into the rear view mirror!
It does have a rear...
There have been no less than 30 posts on these trannies and you were answered in your original post
Why start another post on the exact same subject without doing your research?
Repairable and...
Good luck with that....until you remove the center section and see how the damn thing is assembled!
Volvo used to make a replacement center section, it's not an easy process, even with a molded...
You have the thread, can't you read?
The wrong fluid is in there.
You never said what year car this is and the mileage on this tranny that was installed
Buy a NEW valvebody...install it
Get rid...
I just bought this a few minutes ago and this one seems to be a SUPER NICE ONE!
It's pretty loaded.
A Long Island R
It has some sort of a high end aftermarket head unit, w/back up camera and NAV...
The same thing just happened to me with my wife's 2000 V70R
After replacing about everything in the front end (were due anyway) the clunks not only were still there but now were becoming worse by...
Well.
You need to know the VIN of the car it came out of, and the BUYER needs to know the VIN of the car it goes into...
Then either call your Volvo dealer of someone who knows which goes where...

Looks exactly like a "J"
Not that hard and a VERY common failure
Nope
BG

the Viscous Coupling are all different
All the touring Michelins are a "nice" highway tire but unless it's a P/S Sport line tire, it's a nice, quiet, good mileage touring tire.

You may need to have it initialized at a Volvo dealer
I just had a similar problem, I had a broken switch but every window was working (the mirror switch portion was broken)
When we took the door...
You probably popped an axle
Probably not
The purge valve can go bad, but I would not call that a sensor... per se
That's absurd
This is a 5 minute test
Remove any vacuum line, insert tube from smoke machine
The "leak" will show up in less than a minute
P-whipped.....
Well, since this is MY thread........[sly]
I don't do "quick fixes"... I make sure EVERYTHING is 100% so I spend more.
I get a bit more, but my Volvos last and my buyers are happy buyers [thumbup][happy]
Why don't you buy a set of General Altimax HPs?
Very cheap (under $100) and a surprisingly decent tire for the money
and VERY quiet on an XC70
BTW those Michelins are an awful tire and they're expensive
Good for about one thing, good tread mileage
No
Frustrating
2005 XC70 White/Oak, fairly loaded with only 41,000 miles:eek:
In FL (with climate pkg.)
Legit FL, one owner, snowbird car with a very high condition report
I knew if I wanted to own...
I have 235/55/17 and I think those are plenty big enough plus the speedo is almost exactly the same as stock
AC and sunroof BS in not necessary
Radio holds its settings
Clock does need to be reset
