Update: After returning from a business trip, the car started up and battery issue seems to be resolved. The car was left sitting in the garage for nearly 6 days. When I returned and checked...
I took the car into my dealership this morning and explained what I outlined above to my service manager. He let me know that he'd heard of the RDAR problem and that once he received authorization...
About a year and a half since my last update. The car now has ~133k miles on her. Replaced upper engine torque mount and passenger side lower engine mount at 123k miles, I was noticing rough...
I was prompted to post to this thread after another episode of my 2010 XC60 T6 not starting up after returning from a trip and the car sitting in my garage for 5 days and investigating the issue...
Well it's been over 2.5 years since my original post and I just turned the corner on 100,000 miles about a week ago. So far so good and still quite happy with the vehicle. No major issues to report...
Hi guys, I noticed a few drops of oil on my garage the other day and had gotten the engine oil low indicator a few days prior to that. Looked under the hood, beneath the car and found that oil had...
XC70 to XC60 sounds like a bit of a downgrade, like going from a BMW X5 to an X3 :p Kidding aside, and in actuality, it's a huge upgrade (in my case)...
Hi all,
Thought I'd post here as a new...
1.21 gwatts, so far so good. It's only been a little over two weeks but it's back to a nice smooth ride at highway speeds.
Update: It's been 9 months now and the car just turned over 150k miles...
Update:
The front right drive axle was the culprit as a couple of members mentioned above and experienced/noted by members in other threads. Initially I replaced the upper engine stabilizer mount...
Definitely more noticeable under acceleration. Good suggestion about the drive axles, will have them looked at. Will post update if I find anything...
The power doesn't seem to be down although I've noticed that my gas mileage seems to be down by about 0.5 miles per gallon. I don't have the CEL on, it seems to just be vibration for the time being....
I started noticing some excessive vibration of the chassis under acceleration about 4 days ago. The vibration or shuddering is most noticeable at highway/freeway speeds. I suspect that it's there...
Just to throw my two cents in...I've had three oil leaks serviced on separate occasions. First one was minor, second and third were major leaks.
#1- was probably before I hit the 100k mi. mark and...

Brake job completed yesterday. New rotors, pads and fluid all around. [thumbup]
Is the Cargo Cover available?
I'm Interested, located in SF bay area. Would you be willing to ship and if so, could you provide estimate for ship to zip 94080?
I don't think Bilsteins have struts that will keep the original ride height of the XC, correct? I only see those that are for the non-XC models.
I'm going to be replacing my front struts/spring...
I've got two Britax Marathons taking up the rear seat. The one behind the driver's seat is rear facing for my 11 m.o. daughter. Can't wait 'til I can turn it around so that it's front facing and I...
Interesting...I had similar problems in the snow a couple weeks ago. I have an '01 w/o DTSC, it doesn't have the Haldex AWD system so this might not be related.
I could not back out of the snow...
Is Volvo still using the similar design ETMs from the '99 through '01 vehicles with the potentiometers and fingers (4, 12 or whatever) in their newer model vehicles? ie. 2004+ XC70s and XC90s. I...
Oh, right. Misread it the 1st time, sorry 'bout that.
Sorry if this article and the figures it quotes has already been mentioned here or if people already know of it. But it was the first one I saw with some numbers on the NHTSA investigation.

Thank you Art for pointing the way, I guess I'm still fumbling my way through this site. (Too many forums in my head, I get used to the layout of a few that I frequently visit and feel lost at a new...
