My 2002 XC tran. finally gone at 320,000Km.

Rebuilding is about 3,000$, only mechanical. (everything else will cost more: oil pump , solenoids , etc)

Such a trany is rare here
...

Best is a 245 Volvo , nothing to brake. But cannot be compared to the XC70.

I noticed that the km and trip info under the speedometer
turned very dim and barely can be read.
While all other displays are ok.
Any idea what is the cause?

It seems like CV joints have some extra ware , and usually that is the cause it vibrates while accelaration.

This is the problem in my car for sure. Over 250,000 K"m with the original...

I have bought a 2000 s70 - non turbo.

I knew the car got heated before and thought it needs only to redu the cylinder head.
But , engine is stuck and does not turn.

Removed plugs...

Lots of thing ;-(

Replaced front tires (after 30,000km )
1 coil dead
Tranny flush + TransTune - no luck. Still flare 2-3.
Filled up with grease (was desert dry) CV joints/axle.

I have tried replacing my control arm front bushings with PowerFlex bushings.

The problem was , that the internal pin/rod pulled out of the rubber was too thick and was not like it...
