2.5's are solid, most reliable combo out there.
For AWD have the bevel gear checked, they leak and go out. I top mine off at each oil change. 2.5 is the easiest to change if they do have problems....

Depends on where you live, you may not care about winter traction. Would be better if we knew where you lived. I went for long tread
life, Dallas doesnt get much snow.
The program was called Over Seas Delivery when we picked our 2005 up in Sweden. A real good price going that route. We put about 1700 miles
on it when we were there. Even drove to Berlin (with a...
Just a piece of fuel hose would have fixed it up again.... Saved you as much time as the previous owner. :)
Yes check the forums, they also say they get better power and milage so it is really a wash. You have a premium car and are
probably being cheap on lower quality fuel.. Doesnt seem to add up does...
Hatch you give poor information and the complain with the reply... nice...
I am sure everyone will be anxious to help you now
Tight turns in these causes some good scrub on the outside
tire. Part of the problem with the tire wear on them. Normal
for this car.
That should be fine. If you were hauling it at freeway speed it would be a different story. I believe the xc90 is rated at 5000 as long as there is nothing else in the car. I wouldn't haul more than...
If my sunroof licked me I would freak out, if it was leaking I would look at the STICKEY post at the top of this forum.
Is the weight really the issue, did any of those cars have a turbo engine in them making
the power the T6 does?
Brake fluid level for high beams not staying on? Is that something like blinker
fluid? :)
Depends if you know how to use real brakes w/o ABS. I drove years and years
without them with no problems. You need to realize that they can grab if you are
really on them and one tire looses some...
My car is a guy, no wonder yours is so high maintenance...
For the high beams to work you need to have the head lights switched on. With day time
running lights you can switch the lights "off" but they still stay "on" and make you
think they are switched...
If you can use a hitch mount it isnt in the air stream so has less wind resistance, easier
to access also.
So you have the choice of the 2.5 or the V8
2.5 = solid, but they stopped the 2.5 several years ago. Good milage, good power. Proven engine and trans.
V8 = mostly solid after 2005. Good milage,...
It is the vents opening and slamming shut from the wind disturbance as stated
above. On my truck (F350) and car (xc90) it will feel like your brain will be sucked
out... Fun to do with the kids...
Yes, that could be it, or a head gasket issue.
You dont have a footer with any engine type or year.. or even if it is a XC90..
I believe there is a WEB page that tells how to do it for free!
See Reese or Hidden Hitch instruction on their sites for that info
If it fails, or when, you could just take it to a shop that specializes in the GM trans and
get it really built. Then it should last.
Expect the trans to go at any time, if this is at the top of you price range then
you cant afford it... Run dont walk away unless they lower it enough for a new
transmission.
They look like my stock rims painted black....
New trans is way cheaper than that, that was not a financial decision. I bet the
car salesman got a good bonus out of that one, you make someones day.
Check your sunroof drains too!
