Yes you can do that but Volvo geartronick hardly withstand substantial jump in torque

RR has reputation of one owner (very hard to sell after 2-3 years without huge depreciation ).

I know a number ( have a good connection with big local Volvo/LR dealer) of breakdowns of automatic transmissions on the LR3/ RR/RR Sport.

Thank you Jorge! The new X5 is 30% more expensive compared to ML. and I don’t need 3rd row. The LR3 is quite popular in Moscow but with diesel and has many problems with automatic transmission.
