Thank you for the reference to timeserts. I had never heard of them, looked them up and they certainly look very useful.
Perhaps because ramps are safer?.
Possible causes include
– Leaking fuel pressure regulator
– Leaking fuel injector
Have you checked the air pressure of your spare?
I went the same route as Bill and everything went great for quite a long time until I absent mindedly updated the laptop. Do not do that unless you want to revisit the entire process.

DOT4+ has a higher heat tolerance. I would recommend sticking with it.
I am curious: what would coolant smell like in the exhaust if it were very slowly leaking into a cylinder?

I fully agree with savannahvolvoguy's point! if your PCV system is clogged don't replace the filler cap gasket until you have that system cleaned up....
