Yes, all of them. I replaced my front axles with DSS knockoffs about a year after I got the car due to a torn boot but I kept the Volvo OEM in case I wanted core parts for a rebuild one day. Turns...
You can't tell how bad the damage is from the bumper photo. I've seen much milder collisions than that cost >$2,000. My guess is this is a $5k+ repair and not worth it on this car. At least that's...
Copper RTV is rated to 700F and is designed to seal exhaust systems, but I'm not sure this is what VIDA meant. Mysteriously all it says is, "Always use copper paste 116408 where indicated in the...
Rear axles come out easily with a pry bar between the final drive (rear differential) and the inner CV joint housing but to access that you need to drop the final drive. The boots on my '02 axles...
I'm reinstalling the exhaust of my '02 after changing out the final drive. When reconnecting the the front muffler to the cat VIDA suggests using copper sealant. Does anybody have any experience with...
Check every oil change. Installing a transmission cooler will improve the life of your fluid, nothing else. Drop a spot onto a white towel / rag next to new fluid. Compare color with color chart,...
Just removed two original rear bearings at 260K mi while replacing the final drive. One was absolutely fine, couldn't tell the difference between it and the replacement. The other was feeling rough...
Mine seems to do that randomly, sometimes it stops where it should, sometimes it's pointing at the sky. Funny thing is I never, ever see the wipers running nor do I seem to be able to make them run...
The hanger is integral to the muffler, hence there is no replacement Volvo part. Just get a generic hanger with clamp from your local autoparts store. You're looking for something like this
I assumed your photos were of your bolt, but I guess they're generic from the internet. The new banjo bolt with check valve looks like this.

You might get away with just new clips. If you force the window with the clips broken you'll most likely bend the regulator and have to swap it for a new one.
You need to look a little closer, the constriction is right there in the center of the bolt.

I accidentally threw my banjo bolt out last time I did a PCV job and so bought a...
You can't replace a hard, polyurethane vacuum tube with a soft silicone one. What do you think soft sided tubes do under vacuum? Unless the turbo is actively sucking air in, most PCV vacuum goes...
Assuming your have the original SMI rack the Meyele HD parts should be fine. I just removed worn out Meyle HD tie rods from my '02 and they had 6 threads exposed on the inner tie rod, so there should...
I hardwired in a trickle charger to the battery
8911
and fitted a NOCO 13Amp socket into my rear bumper
8912
so now I can just plug my car in to charge the battery [thumbup].
Use a cigarette...
What were your alignment results? The only thing that is really adjustable is the toe where you want 0.2° toe-in.
The location of the battery makes all the difference, in the trunk it isn't exposed to the extreme heat of the engine bay which shortens battery life considerably.
You need to bring the car inside to thaw it out then spray some WD40 inside there to get the water out of the mechanism. Once it's working again lubricate with a Teflon spray.
Rear drive shafts do not make noise because of the very limited movement in the shaft during normal operation hence they do not wear out. No idea what BS your state inspection station threw at you...
The Haynes manual is a lot clearer than bloody VIDA, that basically shows you 3 images and leaves you to figure out what on earth they are referring to. I used the Haynes manual a lot when I first...
No, that's the point.
Just pulled the timing belt off to find the source of a leak on the front of the engine and it's the damm water pump. It's an Aisin WPV-800 that I installed 60K miles ago. :( Bearing is shot.

In case anybody else cares to do this crappy job.
Haynes rate it 3/5, no more difficult than a timing belt job.
So to save $60 you spend $1200? I'm not certain but something about that doesn't make sense.
