Grom Stereo Adapters connect your phone or other USB device to your OEM Volvo radio. Plugs into back of OEM radio. Playback control through steering wheel or car stereo.
Also have this listed with...
I contacted Volvo and got my answer in less than an hour.
I guess I should have suspected it. It was listed as a "Fleet vehicle"for it's initial ownership and therefore not eligible for the free...
I just picked up an 09 Volvo S60. It's a nice change from my 2001 XC, which I still have. Anyways I was led to believe that the 09 Volvos came with "Complimentary Volvo Factory Scheduled Maintenance"...
My '01 threw those misfire codes after I did a Seafoam treatment though the vacuum lines. Good call on changing the plugs. I want to get those Iridiums out of there...
Passenger side on my '01. Lower 5" or so gone. Happened when driving off the garage lift after an oil change. (That's another story...) I thought the mechanic left a wrench in there.
It would be...
Mine had the same problem. Used clear silicone instead of Gorilla glue, since Gorilla glue dries white and ugly.
Lots of problems with my '01, but otherwise I like the car so much I'm actually thinking about getting another low mileage later year model.
"Is there a best year"? What year did they sort the bugs...
PCV system clog. Look in the resources section. http://www.volvoxc.com/resources/how-to/index.php
...and how much stop and go driving the car has been through. I know mine is in jeopardy with all the Chicago driving I do.
Really?! Seems pretty sloppy for a Swedish car. I wish I would have snapped a photo. If they ALL have it then it stands to reason that my trans hasn't been worked on then.
Just wanted to follow up here and post that I finally flushed my tranny with 12 quarts of Mobile 1 Synth. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the old fluid didn't really look/smell bad at all at...
Great diagram Willy.
You are very helpful as always...Thanks again.
Thanks a lot for that info. I'll bet the wire got knocked off when the turbo was done. Now I know where to look. [thumbup]
Hello Everyone.
I just took my 01 XC (100k miles) to the DMV for testing. I just installed a rebuilt turbo a month or so ago. The car passed the test, but the ODB read "Engine knock sensor (left or...
I have those too. A little noisy but excellent snow tires.
Sweeds...
That was the problem when I bought my car. I actually got a bit off the price because of it. A real relief when I found out it was just the mat...[thumbup]
After my last post I put the question to Mobile 1 in the form of an email on the Mobile 1 website. Below is the reply that I just received...
"The newly reformulated Mobil1 Fully Synthetic ATF...
If that's the case, then I'll probably give it a shot...when the weather allows.
That's fine if you're happy with the status quo. Unfortunately the status is that a lot of these transmissions are failing. How do we know that if by using a synthetic fluid instead we wouldn't...
Thanks for those links. I've been looking for 3309 and can't find it anywhere.
At the end of the tranny sticky there is a post with this link saying that Mobile 1 is now JWS 3309 spec. What say the pundits...yea or nay? ...
Turbo's installed. Car's running great. According to Dave at XS boost the turbo on my 2001 was unlike the others he has sold for Volvo's. Something about the two coolant lines being on the same side...
Now he tells me....
(Heed the warning!)
