I'm going to have my timing belt replaced for the first time, at 94xxx miles. I plan to use the following volvo parts: - timing belt, idler pulley, and tensioner (these come in volvo's "kit") - water pump & the gasket volvo includes - serpentine (or drive) belt ?'s: 1. Any other timing components I should replace? 2. Should crank seal & cam seals be replaced even if they aren't leaking? What is their life expectancy? 3. Since replacing the Piston Cooling Valve requires removing timing belt, tensioner, & pulley, should I go ahead and have a new PCV installed now? Mine has never been cleaned. 4. Anything else that should be done while they are in that part of the engine? I don't want to miss something that is near the end of its life expectancy & have to pay for the same labor again anytime soon. 5. Any good reasons to use the dealer over a reputable, independent shop? Does replacing these parts on my volvo differ much from other cars?
