Custom building a XC90

I've been reading the postings in this forum for months now. *Thanks for all the info. *We have a deposit down for a XC90 but we are not very high on the list so we won't have a large selection to choose from. *Does any one know how long it will take to have a custom car built if we aren't offered a car that we want?

the run of the first 6,000 will be pre configured, much to our dislike.  I would suspect for a complete special order, Feb/March at the earliest.

Phil is correct. * I have been told March is the earliest for a custom XC90 delivery in the US. * An Overseas Delivery XC90 custom order placed now would be ready in February for pickup in Europe. *It would then be 4 - 6 weeks to ship your Volvo back to the US. *Like Phil, I am also disappointed that Volvo is pre-configuring the first production runs of XC90's. *I would have liked to have been able to custom order XC90's from the start for my customers.
